Review of ECG app @Apple Watch 4

I bought the Apple Watch 4 for its ECG app about 3 years ago for around RM1500. But although the price was steep, I thought the ECG app would be useful. (But it took 3 years for the ECG app to be approved for use in Malaysia.)

I understand the ECG app's limitations - for a review by a UK cardiologist see the YouTube video by Medlife Crisis below. The ECG app can't be used to confirm myocardial infarction, IE a heart attack in layman's terms. But for hypochondriacs it's a useful feature that can check for atrial fibrillation, a potentially dangerous condition.

My favourite watch face is the Mickey Mouse 😍. It has a nice animated watch face that only smart watches can display. And of course you can have a watch face with your favourite photos as the background - see below.

These are the only Watch apps I use on a regular basis:

The Workout app is a calories counter, step tracker and heart beat checker..

The Spotify app to control music on my 4 year old iPhone 7

The weather app to check if thunderstorms are forecast before I go out

I don't use the email, calculator, stockmarket, etc and other apps bundled with the watch
