E1 room @ Northern Audio Visual Penang show

I visited the E1 Personal Audio room to try out the “mass premium” aka affordable Astell & Kern Norma model SR25 Mk 2 digital audio player with the their hybrid IEM Zero 01, both cost RM3479. The Norma has a single ended output and 2 balanced outputs. It plays music from Spotify and Tidal also.

I also tried out the Meze Empyrean dynamic headphones that cost more than RM10,000 with a hybrid tube amplifier from iFi. The sound quality was very good and the headphones were comfortable to wear. The sales staff were very helpful.
