Kirana Residence Revisited

Last month when I was in KL, I didn't have time to upload more pictures of the surroundings and the facilities available to Kirana residents at the 22F of Ascot KL.

Unlike some 5* KLCC Condominiums eg MARC RESIDENCE next door, Kirana residents can actually access the rooftop to check out the fireworks display at end of the year count down celebrations.

Halfway to KLCC Park using a short cut across a hotel car park belonging to Mandarin Oriental

Halfway across same short cut, but I now turned back facing Kirana Residence at 7 Jalan Pinang

The entrance to Kirana Residence car park from Jalan Pinang. You need a card access to get the boom raised. But Kirana MC will install RFID tags soon on car windscreens. No need to carry access card to gain entry

NB There’s a separate entrance to the Ascott KL car park

Main entrance to Kirana Residence lobby . On the left and right of the pathway (lit by LED lights at night) are sitting out areas where residents can meet friends. On the right is the infamous decorative slate wall where more than 10 years ago, I spotted a mistake by a renovation contractor just in the nick of time. My timely intervention saved over RM30,000 for the MC.

The infamous slate wall is on the right. At night, LED strip lights illuminate the slate wall!

The mezzanine floor of the DOUBLE HEIGHT lobby showing an enormous Glass Chandelier lighted by LEDS at night. Pictured without LED lights which are controlled by an auto timer to switch on at night.

The 22F SKY LOUNGE at Ascott KL. Kirana residents used to enjoy access to the SKY LOUNGE for the first 10 years. But at Ascott’s request to keep the Sky Lounge for its own guests, Kirana residents gave up the right to use the Sky Lounge

KL Tower view from Ascott KL rooftop pool. Kirana residents enjoy access to the rooftop pool. But the 2F pool and children’s wading pool is for the EXCLUSIVE use of Kirana residents
