Eslite Writing Boutique @ Star House, TST

I think the in house pen shop at Eslite book shop at Star House, Tsim Tsa Chui is probably the prettiest and biggest pen shop in Hong Kong. Besides pens, inks and stationery, the shop also carries lifestyle accessories like leather wallets, handbags and cardholders, Bluetooth speakers and headphones for sale. There is another Writing Boutique at Eslite’s Causeway Bay book shop.

No bargaining allowed here, but there is a store promotion on until mid November :Buy HKD 300 worth of products and you will receive an in-house Eslite voucher for HKD 100. So I took the opportunity to buy 3 bottles of Diplomat Ink from Korea for HKD 310. Two bottles came in attractive bottles that reminded me of shot glasses.

Occasionally Eslite does have clearance sales. A few years ago, I paid HKD 2500 for a limited edition Cross Townshend Star Wars gold filled C3PO fountain pen, about half price it's MRP. This pen was fitted with a 18K nib, accompanied by a glass pen holder, a booklet and cover.
