Sheaffer Balance II Pen Set

The original Sheaffer Balance fountain pens were torpedo shaped lever fillers issued around 1928. My Black and Gold Sheaffer Balance II reissue fountain pen (circa late 1990s) is a converter filler. The 14K gold nib is engraved with the Sheaffer logo and Lifetime.

The plastic cap has a decorative 23K gold plated band and the famous White Dot. Its vintage style clip has the Sheaffer logo stamped. The matching Black and Gold ball point pen uses a twist style mechanism.

Both pens are very light. Some users have reported cracks in the barrel due to pressure on the clip. That hasn't happened to my Balance II yet.
