Visconti Voyager Club Corno FP
The Visconti Voyager Corno fountain pen was a regular production model similar in size to the Kaleido limited series. The latter, however, was issued in five colours of 500 pens each, circa 2000.
My Visconti Voyager pen has a translucent yellow acrylic barrel and cap with honey almond swirls. It has a screw in gold coloured cap band with stylised cut-outs of V (for Visconti) and is engraved “Visconti Firenze”. The fitted large two tone 18K gold nib is M . The cap end has the Voyager logo in relief in gold color. The barrel end has a circular gold coloured insert.
Also shown below is a rare pen stand in the shape of a V (for Visconti) and a box of blotter paper printed with a Visconti advertisement from Hop Cheong, a pen shop in Central. It was one of my favourite pen shops in the 1990s which I used to visit once a month to buy Pen World Magazine. I think I got into pen collecting at Hop Cheong because I bought many of my pens there (mainly Visconti and Montegrappa”.
