🤠’s Easy Tilapia in Tauchu Sauce

You will need : one 600-700g Tilapia (about RM12 from the supermarket), 1 T sweet taucho, 1 T salty taucho, thumb sized ginger cut into strips, 2 T seafood soy sauce, oil, 1 T mirin, sugar to taste, two slices of roast belly pork

Garnishing: Spring onions, coriander leaves

Step 1. Clean and scale Tilapia. Stuff cavity with a piece of ginger, a sprig of spring onion and a slice of roast pork. Mix taucho sauces with 1 T mirin and some sugar. Spoon over fish. Sprinkle ginger strips on top.

Step 2 Steam on medium heat for 8-10 minutes until fish is cooked. Transfer fish to serving tray

Step 3 Heat 1 T oil in a sauce pan. Add a slice of roast pork a d 2 T seafood soy sauce. Add 100 ml water. Add chopped spring onions. Cook for 1 minute

Step 4. Spoon sauce over fish in serving dish. Add coriander leaves as garnishing
