KLCC Park

The 50 acre KLCC Park across the road from Kirana Residence is the perfect antidote to the stress of city living. With its 1.3km jogging track, children’s playground and a 10,000 sqm water feature, KLCC Park is a handy refuge for many KLCC residents.

The park has approximately 1900 indigenous trees and 66 species of palms.

At night, the park comes alive with the magical sights and sounds from a 18 meter high musical water fountain, directly in front of Suria KLCC mall and Petronas Twin Towers.

Petronas Twin Towers

Soaring to a height of 451.9 metres, the 88-storey twin structure is Kuala Lumpur's iconic symbol. Majestic by day and dazzling at night, the PETRONAS Twin Towers was inspired by one man’s vision for Malaysia to be a global player, two time Prime Minister Mahathir Mohd. Together with master architect Cesar Pelli, the “international icon powerfully captures the nation's ambitions and aspirations.” More information here.

Best Area to Explore : Kampung Bahru

A village in the heart of Kuala Lumpur? Yes, step back into time by taking the Saloma Link, KL”s longest pedestrian bridge that connects the old (Kampung Bahru, literally New Village in Bahasa Melayu) and the new KLCC. The Saloma Link stretches for 370m, but the span that crosses the highway and river is 69m long. For more information, see here.

In the old narrow streets of Kampung Bahru, you will find KL’s reportedly best Nasi Lemak, Malaysia’s most beloved national dish that is eaten for breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner. Essentially rice cooked in coconut cream (santan) served with crispy ikan bilis, curry or rendang chicken, slices of cucumber and sambal (chili with anchovies or prawns).
